NAVY and MARINE Badges Special badge "Diving Officer".In 1906, a scuba diving training unit was created. Graduates were awarded the rank of scuba diving officer and granted the right to wear the special badge "Scuba Diving Officer". The badge on the end of the Officer's diving class was approved on January 26, 1909. From 5 to 24 candidates a year were recruited to the Officer's diving class. In total, about 120 officers were released before the First World War. 48x47 mm, unmarked, rare.
