Estate f. a. AUSTRIAN FIELD PILOT and LUFTSCHIFFER Field Pilot, first type (1913), Miniature In silver, fine enamels and details, 28,5 mm high. On back with dedication "WEDIGE". Rittmeister Feldpilot Wedige von Froreich. Born on August 12, 1887 in Theresienstadt in Bohemia, active officer in the Ulan Regiment 11. On June 27, 1915, first aerial victory as an observer for Lieutenant Wedige with field pilot platoon leader Stefan Hujzan in the aviation of Flik ( company)11 at the Austro-Hungarian Army 7 in Eastern Galicia. Wedige was one of the most outstanding aviators of the Austro-Hungarian aviation troops and was then commander of the Flik 30. By the end of the war he had achieved 5 victories in the air. He died in 1920. A piece of History!!
